How does Triage fit with the systems you already use?
Triage helps establish what a workforce or services request needs and why. Your existing systems manage the process that follows. Their capabilities vary, so the handoff should match your actual setup.

Vendor management systems
A vendor management system, or VMS, supports the management of external workforce and supplier processes. Its scope depends on the product and configuration.
Triage can sit before the request enters that process. It helps establish whether the work belongs in a contingent route, Service via SoW or another channel. Where a connection is agreed, the handoff can include the decision reference and the information needed by the VMS.
Procurement intake
An intake tool provides a way to request something and start a process. Some intake platforms also include rules, approvals and routing. The practical question is which decisions your current intake already supports.
Triage focuses on the workforce and services decision: asking the relevant diagnostic questions, applying your policies and showing the reasoning and outstanding checks. It can complement an intake process where that decision needs a clearer starting point.
Document assembly
Document assembly puts supplied information into a document or template. That can save drafting effort, but it does not necessarily establish that the chosen delivery arrangement fits the work.
Triage supports that earlier decision. When Service via SoW is the supported route, an optional next step can carry the agreed context into a structured draft for human review. A generated document is not an approved contract.
What should move between systems?
Agree the minimum information the next system needs, while keeping a way to find the decision behind it. Depending on the destination, that may include:
- A decision reference.
- The request summary and suggested channel.
- Relevant country and work-location context.
- The answers or evidence needed for the next review.
- Outstanding checks and required approvals.
What does a connection require?
A connection needs an agreed destination, field mapping, permissions and a way to handle failed or incomplete delivery. The exact capability depends on the system and the configuration available to your organisation.
The website shows illustrative handoffs. It does not connect your accounts or send your example answers to a live system. A working integration is confirmed during implementation.
Start with one decision
Choose a request that regularly causes confusion or rework. Agree the questions, the policies behind the decision and who handles exceptions. Test that experience with the people who will use it, then agree the downstream handoff.
This gives you a concrete way to assess Triage alongside your current tools: can people reach a supported next step, can reviewers understand it and can the receiving process use the information?
