Why the country matters

Triage's first job is to make sure that demand is allocated to the correct channel of supply. But before the work starts, we need to make sure it's compliant.

Because the same request can be compliant in one country, and a liability in the next. A contractor in one place can be an employee in another. And a statement of work can turn out to be labour supply in disguise.

Today, those problems are found late. At audit, in a tax review, or in a claim, and central functions never had the data to stop them.

Now, with Triage. Once the channel is chosen, Triage runs a country compliance audit in five steps.

On screen: A work request passes through five channels. A comparison shows the same role in the United Kingdom, Germany and Spain. Procurement, compliance and HR then appear below the message Found at audit, not before.

1. Establish the jurisdiction

First, it establishes the jurisdiction, where the work is done, where the worker is based, and which entity is engaging them.

On screen: The work location and worker location are shown separately on country maps.

2. Apply the rules for the channel

Second, it applies that country's rules for the chosen channel, licensed suppliers and assignment limits for contingent labour, status tests for contractors, and for a statement of work, whether it's a genuine service with defined deliverables and the supplier in control.

On screen: The five-channel diagram is examined with a magnifying glass. Labels identify examples of checks, including a licensed supplier and a status test.

3. Check duration and control

Third, it checks how long the work will last and who directs it day to day, because both can change how the work is treated.

4. A clear outcome

Fourth, every request gets a clear outcome. Cleared. Cleared with conditions such as a time limit, rerouted to the channel where it is compliant, or referred to compliance before anything is signed.

On screen: Four branches are labelled Cleared, Cleared with conditions, Re-routed and Referred for review.

5. Keep the decision and recheck changes

And fifth, every decision is recorded with the rule and the reasons behind it, and checked again if the work is extended or moves.

On screen: Country records show the rule set and version, with a reason in plain language.

Before the work begins

So HR, procurement and compliance see the risk before the work begins, not after.

Right channel. Right classification. In every country. Triage Compliance.

On screen: The final diagram connects requests through Triage to systems of record, with central functions shown below.

  1. Spot the mismatch

See where answers conflict, while the decision can still change.

  2. Check the work arrangement

Add country-specific screening when the work calls for it.

  3. Keep the evidence

Keep answers, supporting evidence and next actions together.

See it in your workflow.

A flagged answer needs review. It is not a legal finding or permission to start.
